Our Sense Check service is a quick and convenient way of jump starting your communications programme.

If you’re in the position where you know what you want to say, and who you want to say it to, the chances are that you’ve already made a start on writing a media announcement and a plan for getting the message out there. Even if you’ve not got that far, you’ll certainly have an initial idea of how you’ll go about it.

At this point, very often all that’s necessary is a bit of ‘fine-tuning’ – making sure your media release has been written and presented in the right way, selecting your target media and preparing responses to potential questions.

Once we’ve done this for you, you’ll be in a position to handle the beginning of your campaign yourself.

It really couldn’t be easier. All you have to do is send us the work you’ve done so far. That could be any or all of the following:

• A brief written background to your business
• A brief written description of what you want to communicate
• A draft media announcement
• An initial list of target media
• An outline PR plan
• A timing schedule

We’ll have a look at it and estimate how much ‘fine tuning’ it will need. As an example, if you’ve drafted a media announcement, have an idea of which media you want to target, and supply us with background information, then our work should take no more than an hour – and we only charge you for the time it takes.

We’ll then return the Sense Checked work to you and give you a telephone briefing on handling the media and any other advice that might be relevant.
